Why plans are paused

The business has changed hands. Will Case & Partners has been bought and is now in family ownership, trading as Will Case Limited, and while that change goes through we are not arranging new pre-paid funeral plans.

Everything else carries on exactly as before. We are arranging funerals exactly as before, and someone answers the phone at any hour of the day or night.

We expect to be offering plans again, and we will say so here as soon as we can. We are sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime.

If you already have a plan with us

Please get in touch. We would far rather hear from you and put your mind at rest than have you wondering.

A pre-paid funeral plan is held with the plan provider, not with the funeral director, and the money you have paid sits with them. A change of ownership here does not change that. What we want to do is go through your particular plan with you, confirm what it covers and make sure the paperwork reflects the new company, so that when the time comes everything happens the way you arranged it.

Ring whichever office is easiest, or email us, and ask for whoever is dealing with funeral plans. Have your plan number to hand if you can find it, but do not worry at all if you cannot — we can find you from your name and address.

If you were about to take a plan out

We are sorry to hold you up. Ring us anyway: we can talk through what you were hoping to arrange, note down your wishes so they are on record with us, and let you know the moment we are able to pick it up again.

If what you are really trying to do is make things easier for your family, there is a good deal you can do without a plan at all, and it costs nothing. Our prices are published in full, so your family will not be guessing.
